		<description>I sometimes think of the role of the therapist as an OBSERVER. Perhaps you are mostly there to observe what&#039;s going on. The client&#039;s emotional state, what they&#039;re doing about it, their strengths, what struggles they are working through, what makes them anxious, what they&#039;re scared to death of, etc. etc. etc. Often having someone there as an impartial, supportive observer is the greatest help of all.</description>
