Hello,
I know this is really hard, but in the end it really is important for you to be true to what you want, and what you don't want. You don't *have* to be attracted to your partner, and you don't have to be with your partner. Your partner doesn't have to lose weight, either. But you have a right to like what you like, and want what you want. As painful as it might be, I would say that doing what you truly want---after a time of serious reflection---is more important than staying in a relationship.

That was a very accurate and well grounded response, but what do you do when your partner doesn't want to lose the weight and you are still unattracted? I suppose you would just have to end the relationship? I don't know how it is possible to be physically attracted to something you have never been attracted to in the first place. I love my partner but I do not know how to overcome this and it is depressing me beyond compare.
